How close did Tivo come?
I was reading a blog post about Tivo today (can’t remember where) and all I could think about was how close they came to being Kleenex, Xerox, Coke, or Google. There was a 1 or 2 year period when DVR or recording something was Tivoing it. I don’t hear anyone call it that now. So how close were they to having the most dominant home entertainment brand? Who blew it?

I really like the talk he has with Bob Davie on the Run and Shoot. What a fun offense for a quarterback. You have very few plays, two formations, and everything else is a read between you and the slot receivers. Proactive or Annoying?
Trying to decide if the email I want to send out is me being proactive or annoying. This issues pops up when trying to create a partnership, look for a job, get a date (although I would suggest not using email), or ask for a favor. I think I’ll wait a few more “business days”.
