As you can tell I have a bit of a baseball obsession.  My first choice for a name was “the tools of ignorance”, which is what people call the catcher’s equipment. 

The get down guy is a term I came up with at University of Texas baseball games when I was four or five.  I wanted to be a catcher, or the get down guy.
