Austin is cool for many reasons, and one of those is South by Southwest.  I used to attend in high school when my brother had a booth at the trade show in Palmer Auditorium, and I went in college to see upcoming bands.  I’m upset I wont make it this year, but hopefully next year I’ll be down their showing off CHALQ or representing a VC group.  Maybe I’ll be there just for fun.

This is as good a venue as any for start ups to take their product from obscurity to the masses; just ask the guys at Twitter. 

I’m looking forward to seeing what companies pop up this year.
