Just got my copy of the 2008 Baseball Prospectus

I tried my fantasy baseball draft this year with out it.  Bad decision.  The projections I did and systems I used are not as useful as PECOTA.  It is the gold standard.

I pay attention to too many sources for Fantasy Baseball draft advice.  I am too scattered and take in too many different opinions.  I’ve decided that in the future I’ll look at:

  1. Baseball Prospectus
  2. Rotoworld
  3. www.mlb.com (The bio’s on each player are extremely helpful and the layout of the site is great.  The projections are suspect.)

Baseball Prospectus and Rotoworld each have accurate and extensive (# of projections made) player projections.  I find them far more usefull than ESPN, Yahoo!, and CBS projections.

I don’t think it is a bad idea to look to as many sources as possible, but I am feeling I wasted a good bit of time on various blogs.  What I want from bloggers who give fantasy advice is a view into their performance (historical) in fantasy leagues.  This includes me…but there is no real good way to do this.
